Updating vmware tools

[/etc/rc.d/init.d] In which directory do you want to install the daemon files?

[/usr/sbin] In which directory do you want to install the library files?

Note: We are now at the point where we are going to do more and install more than you want to for your nice new clean server, but that is ok, because we have a snapshot and once we get the files compiled you can revert to the clean snapshot.

Alternately if you have another Free BSD system, you can do these steps on that system.

Install prerequisites :

The previous installation was made by the tar installer (version 4). Stopping services for VMware Tools Stopping VMware Tools services in the virtual machine: Guest operating system daemon: [ OK ] File /usr/lib/vmware-tools/lib32/libconf/etc/pango/pangorc is backed up to /usr/lib/vmware-tools/lib32/libconf/etc/pango/2.

Before running VMware Tools for the first time, you need to configure it by invoking the following command: "/usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl".

[/usr/lib/vmware-tools] In which directory do you want to install the documentation files?

[/usr/share/doc/vmware-tools] The path "/usr/share/doc/vmware-tools" does not exist currently.
